Region: San Ignacio

The San Ignacio region in northern Peru sits at the edge of the Amazon basin and the high altitude and cool evenings are perfect for producing high quality coffee.

Coffee from this area is grown using traditional farming methods that utilize natural compost and manure to fertilise the coffee trees. The naturally rich soil provides a fantastic environment for coffee to flourish, and the cool evenings allows the coffee cherries to mature slowly.

Process: Washed

Altitude: 2000 masl

Roast:  Slow medium dark roast, suited for black and milk based brews.

Suitable for: Espresso, Stove Top, French Press
